Only accessible by boat and then cable car, this family holiday home is perched on the hillside of a quiet bay.  It is a classic but contemporary designed home that flows effortlessly out to the expansive wrap around decking, and the spectacular views of Queen Charlotte Sound.

Building Details: Single storey, pole foundation construction, long run iron roof, cedar board and batten cladding, cedar ply and gib interior lining, architecturally designed kitchen, and extensive hardwood decking.
Challenges: Boat only access meant that all materials had to be ordered in advance and deliveries coordinated to be either helicoptered or barged to the site.
